Pete Bartel is Senior Advisor with Vista Investment Partners II, LLC in Richmond, Indiana. Pete began his business career in the banking industry in 1972. Pete started in the investment and securities industry in 1993 with a small regional firm, Raffensberger Hughes.
In late 1994 Pete joined Merrill Lynch and in 1998 after obtaining his principal’s license, became manager of the Richmond office. In 2005 he changed his affiliation to Raymond James as Senior Vice President, Investments and office manager. Pete earned his MBA in 1993 and obtained the title of Investment Management Consultant in 2013.
Pete began working with Brett Guiley at Merrill Lynch in 2000 and they have continued working together until present. In 2018 Pete and Brett formed the RIA Vista Investment Partners II here in Richmond IN and partnered with Ron Richardson, Vista Investment Partners I in Oklahoma City, OK.
Pete is now semi-retired and lives in Wilmington with his wife, Joan.
